naily

Printable nail salon party invitations

Two invitations to print for a pretend nail salon playdate or birthday activity. Write in who, when and where with a pen, cut them out and hand them to other families. Free, and nothing to sign up for.

The salon on the invitation is naily, a nail salon game played on a phone, tablet or computer: the polish, patterns and charms are all on the screen. It does not involve real nail polish or any other cosmetics. What happens at the party itself is up to you.

How to print and fill them in

  1. Press Print this invitation under the one you want. Each sheet holds two copies of it, one above the other, on A4 or US Letter. To print both designs, use the print view.
  2. Choose “fit to page” if your printer asks. Colour shows off the painted hand, but black and white works too.
  3. Cut along the dashed line. Each half has its own code and address, so every card works on its own.
  4. Write who, when, where and how to reply on the lines with a pen. naily never asks for any of it: nothing about the party is typed in, saved or sent.

What the code on each card opens

Scanning the code — or typing the address under it — opens naily with the hand from the card already on the table, ready to change. Whoever opens it can play straight away in the browser, with no account and no app to install. There are 24 polishes, 6 patterns, top coats and charms to change it with.

The code is drawn on this page by naily itself, not by a QR service, and it holds only the salon’s address and what is on the nails, plus a fixed tag that says it came from an invitation. No name, date or place goes into it, and printing sends nothing anywhere.
