A nail salon game that plays offline
For the car, the plane and the waiting room. Open the salon once while you have a connection, and this browser keeps a copy of it for when you do not. Free, in the browser, no app store.
Open the salon and prepare offline play
Open the salon once with a connection to get this browser ready.
Getting it ready
- While you are still online, open the salon in the browser on the tablet the children will use.
- Stay on the first screen for a few seconds. Under the salon shelf a line says“Ready to play offline on this device.” Until it does, it is not ready — if it says it could not get ready, check the connection and open the salon again.
- Optionally, keep naily on the home screen (below), and open it from there once while still online.
- Later, without a connection, open naily from the home screen, or go to
naily.lp-data.cloud/playin the same browser.
The very first visit always needs the internet: there is nothing on the device until the salon has been opened once. Each browser keeps its own copy, so prepare the one you will use.
Keep naily on this tablet
An icon on the home screen opens the salon full screen, like an app. It is the same web page, so nothing is downloaded from an app store and there is nothing to update by hand.
iPad and iPhone (Safari)
- Open
naily.lp-data.cloud/playin Safari. - Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open naily from the new icon once while you are still online: on iPad and iPhone the home-screen icon keeps its own copy, separate from Safari.
Android (Chrome)
- Open
naily.lp-data.cloud/playin Chrome. - Tap the menu — the three dots at the top right.
- Tap Add to home screen or Install app, then confirm.
Android (Samsung Internet, Edge)
- Open the salon, then open the browser’s menu.
- Look for Add page to → Home screen (Samsung Internet) or Add to phone (Edge).
Menus differ between browsers and versions, and some browsers do not offer this at all. naily still plays in an ordinary tab there, and offline play works wherever the line under the salon shelf says it is ready.
Saving without a connection
- Clean, paint, polish and the salon shelf all work offline. Saved manicures stay in this browser on this device.
- Offline saves are not added to an account, then or later — there is no syncing. Signed in or not, an offline save is a device save.
- Signing in and the account shelf need a connection. Back online, the salon finds your account again by itself.
- If the browser will not store anything (some private modes) or its storage is full, play carries on and the salon says it could not save.
- Nothing in browser storage is permanent. Clearing the browser’s website data removes the offline copy and the saved manicures, and browsers may clear sites that have not been used for a while. Open the salon online again to get it back.
What is kept, and what is not
The offline copy is the salon’s own page and files and a short “you are offline” page — nothing else. Account details, saved manicures in an account and sent links are never put in it. Playing offline sends nothing anywhere, then or later, and adds no new requests to anyone else.
